Marielle M. is a long-time student of Girls Inc., having been involved in various programs over the course of her time with the Meriden & Central Connecticut affiliate, including SSB Summer Camp, Dance, Gymnastics, and Bold Futures Leadership. In addition to being part of Girls Inc. herself for so long, she also has Girls Inc. alumnae in her family, making her passionate about our affiliate’s history. She is enthusiastic about becoming a leader among her peers, learning as much as possible, and giving back to her community through service.

In 2024, Marielle was awarded the Strong, Smart, and Bold Girl of the Year at the 23rd Annual SSB Awards Celebration, for her dedication to her education, community service, and our Girls Inc. affiliate, as well as her determination for putting advocacy into practice.
